“My daughter is 6 and is really testing the boundaries, do i really need my seat belt on the whole time I’m sitting in my seat? she will ask me.

It was quite a shock to her the first time she undid her seat belt after i had installed this product but it had the desired effect, i explained i want her to be safe in the car and she isn’t safe with her seat belt undone. It has really encouraged her to keep her belt done up until i tell her its safe to undo it. It give me piece of mind knowing she is buckled in.”

“Thank you for the opportunity to trail the BuckleMeUp® system. I have a 5yo who is very cheeky when we are in the car and loves to undo his seatbelt before we tell him its safe to do so. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to install and how quickly the dash-mounted unit charges. Its also very convenient having the in-car charger in the pack for long trips. I feel a lot more at ease now when we travel knowing we have a unit in the car to tell us when our cheeky 5yo starts playing with seatbelts.”

Thanks for allowing me to trial this excellent product! I was very excited to receive it in the mail. I must apologise for the lateness of this review as I have been without my car (somewhat essential to review this product) for a number of weeks due to a major mechanical fault.

I couldn’t believe how incredibly simple this was to install. Just peel the backing off and stick it in place! It is also easy to operate. The only drawback is that it must be manually turned on/reset whenever you get in the car. I realise this has to be the case with anything that is not fitted by the manufacturer however it does introduce the chance that as a parent I might forget to turn it on every trip.

It really helps to put my mind at ease that my children will not unbuckle (either purposefully or accidentally) whilst travelling without me being made aware immediately. As someone who does numerous short car trips every day, as well as many long distance trips, I feel my children are much safer now. It also makes one less thing to turn around and check whilst driving with young children.

Also, for my daughter who has only recently started buckling herself in, it reassures me that she has actually buckled her seatbelt in correctly without accidentally unbuckling her brother’s seatbelt.

“Initially, I was a bit concerned about installing this product, but once I read the instructions – it was really easy.

My 5 year old can be a little bit cheeky in the car. A couple of times, I’ve noticed that her seatbelt is undone when we get to a destination. She would have the sash belt across her, but had worked out how to I click without the seatbelt unwinding. She thought she was very clever. This product is literally a lifesaver. Not only does it tell me when she has unbuckled, but the noise is a great shock to her.

Since installing this, and hearing what happens, she is very aware that unbuckling is not an option! If it means that she won’t unbuckle again, it’s totally worth it. And if she does unbuckle, I can sort it out straight away. Great product – thank you.”

I was so excited to trial BuckleMeUp. I love that it is so easy to use and doesn’t take up much space. Even the kids were excited to try it out, even testing it to make sure it worked properly. Super quick and easy to install with clear instructions. An all round winner that gives parents driving peace of mind knowing that the children are safe. Thanks for a great product and for allowing me to trial it.

I love this little product. It worked as it said it would and being small it doesn’t take up lots of space. I found it really easy to install, the instructions are written well to make it easy. It’s a great idea and as safety is my number one priority in glad that there is a product like this on the market!

I was amazed to see how easy it was to install this product. It didn’t take long to do and is so easy to use. Now I know when my children are in the car they are safely buckled up for the whole trip. Doing car pick up in the afternoon, I now know that their seat belts are definitely done up before I enter the road.

I love this product. From the minute I opened it and saw how simple and easy it was to use and install I was impressed. Such a simple but useful safety tool. The instructions are super simple to follow and installation was a breeze.
I ultimately wanted this product not so much for my 6 yr old in his seat securing his own belt, but more for my 4 yr old who loves to play around and undo the belt that secures her carseat.
Added to this when I take a third child in the middle they often accidentally undo the belt that secures the carseat without me knowing. Nothing worse than feeling as though your child is safe, securely belted into their seat when the seat itself is held down by nothing more than the 4 yrs olds weight.
My 6 yr old in the booster seat has never unbuckled himself while travelling, but I know there’s always a first, with this system I feel assured I will know about it when he decides he might like to. My 4 yr old can’t unbuckle her car seat whilst travelling but the child in the middle can so I love the thought that I know when this happens.
For this reason I have found the BuckleMeUp system invaluable and I’m sure when this particular 4 yr old is buckling herself into a bigger seat in a few years I will love BuckleMeUp all over again.
